Intermediate Copywriter/Editor to work on the writing, editing and proofing for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiative - 84040-1.

Contract Start/End Dates: 2025-02-24 - 2026-02-23

Work Location: 81 Bay Street

Duration: 12 Months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid; Onsite Thursday and every 4th Friday each calendar month

Work Schedule: 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

JOB PURPOSE:

As part of the Sales Force Marketing Cloud Agile Marketing Pod, you will use your Editorial skills to help bring to life the bank's purpose and our commitment to helping our clients succeed. The Copywriter/Editor will recommend copy solutions based on an understanding of the business, marketing, user experience, and technology requirements and constraints. This will involve working as part of collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams to deliver copy that completes a cohesive brand and user experience. The ideal candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

You will bring the bank's brand to life with designs that align with the bank's brand guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Collaboration: The role involves being part of an Agile cross-functional team that is responsible for delivering email campaigns deployed through the Sales Force Marketing Cloud platform. The ideal candidate is able to manage multiple initiatives at one time, requiring excellent organizational and time management skills.
  2. Maintain and share editorial standards and updates with the teams.
  3. Communicate with confidence: Use your communication skills and consultation to present and revise copy decks at in-person stakeholder review meetings with partners and executives from across the bank.
  4. Work closely and collaboratively with cross-disciplinary Agile teams to understand goals and objectives, as well as technical, legal, and regulatory constraints. Able to translate complex business objectives into simple language.
  5. Ensure that all content adheres to the Bank's Brand guidelines.
  6. Present copy to stakeholders and ensure deliverables follow the appropriate review and approval process, soliciting feedback as needed.
  7. Ensure deliverables are executed on time by making copy recommendations that align with campaign objectives.

Must Have Requirement:

  1. 5+ years of experience writing, editing, proofing copy across various platforms.
  2. Degree/diploma in English, Journalism, or equivalent experience and certifications.
  3. Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and inclusive digital design principles.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office products.

Nice to Haves:

  1. Familiarity with technologies such as HTML and content management systems.
  2. Working knowledge of Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
  3. Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
