Our public sector client requires the services of an Intermediate Bilingual Technical Writer (8+ years) to support an enterprise platform modernization initiative.

The Business Application team is finalizing the migration of core features from its legacy system onto a multi-tenant Microsoft Dynamics solution. This new Dynamics 365 Client Relationship Management platform and secure portal will be integrated with a suite of tools including Power Apps Portal, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI, MS Teams, etc. The result will bring business value and efficiency to users and lay the foundation for a fully scalable enterprise solution.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting new features in existing applications, MS Dynamics Online (Knowledge Base), SharePoint Online, Microsoft Portal, Power BI and other Microsoft Tools, as they are developed;
• Identifying and documenting the new IRAP application as the various phases are developed;
• Highlighting the areas where applications use inconsistent language or functionality so they can be standardized;
• Documenting other IT-related information, such as best practices when using various digital tools such as WalkMe.

Must haves:

• 3+ years experience creating training content including documenting training help text, user manuals, and technical documentation for a Microsoft Dynamics Online and SharePoint Online implementation;
• 3+ years Federal Government experience;
• 5+ projects experience documenting systems functionality using workflows, swim lanes, and data dictionaries;
• 3+ years experience in Azure DevOps;
• Enhanced Reliability Clearance.

Nice to haves:

• 3+ years experience documenting grants and contribution systems from both the external and internal user perspectives.
