ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and collaborate directly with Project Manager to execute highly creative, concept-driven interior design projects.
- Ability to handle interior design projects from start to finish.
- Prepare renderings and presentation material for client meetings.
- Prepare complete and detailed construction drawing packages.
- Source materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture.
- Assist with project coordination and contract administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree or Diploma in Interior Design.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience.
- Proven ability to balance design creativity with client requirements.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in preparing construction drawings and assisting with specifications.
- Excellent understanding of current building codes, building construction, details, and building science.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; proven track record of meeting project timelines.
- Strong conceptual, graphic & design skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Critical thinking, effective problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Team player, adaptable, and has a positive attitude towards learning.
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team.
- Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about developing his or her interior design career.
- Institutional experience in the healthcare, justice, research, and sport facility areas of practice.
