Job Details

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.

Location: Richmond, BC

Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time

Work Conditions: Hybrid (work must be completed both in person and remotely).

Responsibilities

• Estimate cost of projects
• Prepare detailed specifications
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes
• Supervise staff or team
• Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
• Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
• Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• AutoCAD
• MS Excel
• MS Word
• SketchUp

Transportation/Travel Information

• Valid driver's licence
• Own transportation
• Own vehicle
• Willing to travel
