Job Summary
Reporting to the Intercultural Liaison, the Intercultural Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, promoting and ensuring the effectiveness of inclusive intercultural engagement initiatives for members and ministry leaders in The Presbyterian Church in Canada. The incumbent is a team player and effective communicator who is dynamic, highly motivated and hardworking with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate intercultural programs, workshops and initiatives that advance the denomination’s vision of inclusivity.
- Coordinate logistics for in-person and online events and meetings.
- Coordinate preparation of reports.
- Develop online, print and multi-media resources to encourage growth in the areas of inclusivity and intercultural ministry.
- Foster connections within diverse cultural communities within the Presbyterian Church.
- Work with and advise synods, presbyteries and congregations in strategies to develop vibrant intercultural ministry programs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops on intercultural ministry and inclusivity and contribute to the development of national equipping events.
- Contribute to budget planning and oversight of intercultural ministry program.
- Collaborate with the Intercultural Liaison to establish strategic priorities in alignment with the denomination’s intercultural goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in relevant field of study.
- 3-5 years relevant experience.
Skills desired:
- Commitment to intercultural engagement and addressing systemic racism.
- Sensitivity to cross-cultural situations.
- Strong experience facilitating conversations with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong program evaluation skills including the ability to create and maintain effective feedback loops.
- Experience in program, and event design, planning and implementation.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and track multiple projects.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated excellence in written, oral and new media communication.
- Multilingual skills an asset.
Work requirements:
- This job follows a hybrid work structure with some work done in-person at national office of the PCC.
- Willingness to travel and work weekends, as required.

2025 Salary range: Band 4, Regular ($65,254 – $79,755)
