YOUR TEAM
You’ll be part of the Interactive Design team, a squad of artisans crafting immersive real-world experiences. Our multidisciplinary and diverse skill set includes designers from UX/UI backgrounds to art direction. We dissect technology to create magical moments for participants in our experiences. Our projects range from immersive installations to contemplative shows and interactive formats requiring user interfaces. We are tasked with defining interactivity and user experience across all these contexts.
YOUR MISSION
At Moment Factory, interactive designers bridge the gap between user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for interactive projects. Our specialists excel in information architecture, user experience, and ergonomics. In collaboration with conception, project, content, and technology teams, our specialists contribute to creating concepts for both permanent and temporary projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, assertiveness, extensive experience in graphic design, a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles, and an interest in user research.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in the creative process with the project lead by proposing visual concepts, creating storyboards, interfaces, and mockups.
- Take responsibility for design tasks, crafting user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes while meeting deadlines.
- Evaluate and suggest appropriate design techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in graphic and interactive design.
- Develop scenarios for interactive experiences and propose innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate interest in interactive technologies.
- Aim to push projects further aesthetically and technically.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Conduct usability testing to understand user behaviors and motivations.
- Identify risks associated with the user experience and propose effective, feasible solutions.
- Perform other responsibilities or related tasks as required.
YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI for interactive experiences and visual design (portfolio required).
- Strong interest in and experience with new technologies.
- Skills in creating visual content (2D-3D animation, graphic design, video editing) for both pre-rendered and generative formats (portfolio essential).
- Experience designing game mechanics.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes to communicate and test ideas and concepts.
- Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Professional proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge or interest in AI.
- Familiarity or interest in tools like Touch Designer, Unity, Unreal Engine, Processing, or OpenFramework.
- A solid understanding of technologies, including hardware, software, and connected devices.
