JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify new business and client retention opportunities with existing insurance clients
  • Streamline and document insurance processes
  • Draft in-force illustrations
  • Initiate insurance applications & manage the underwriting process
  • Preparation of files and insurance recommendations for client meetings
  • Follow-up on action items from client meetings
  • Servicing existing client requests
  • Ensure insurance processes meet compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with the operations team & advisors on other tasks and special projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications of the successful candidate will include:

  • LLQP licensed preferred
  • Experience in managing the administration of insurance applications, in-force illustrations & underwriting
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work independently in a multi-stimuli and highly interruptive environment
  • Can act in a professional manner, with diplomacy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and good judgement
  • Technical skills: Advanced Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook) required
