Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities of an Insurance Broker:

1. Deliver exceptional sales experience from the first point of contact
2. Manage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner
3. Shop our extensive market options to find the best coverage for the best price
4. Identify cross sell opportunities to assist clients with all their insurance needs
5. Prioritize building a quality book of business and maintain good retention ratios.
6. Recommend coverages based on individual customer needs
7. Identify and cater to clients’ changing insurance demands
8. Adhere to underwriting criteria set out by broker partners

Skills and Qualifications:

1. RIBO licensed
2. Experience in the insurance industry is considered an asset
3. Proficient knowledge of Commercial Lines or Personal Lines
4. Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, Powerbroker and Applied Rating Services
5. Ability to multi-task and work with minimal guidance.
6. Comfortable with cold calling and building relationships with COIs.

What We Offer:

1. Commission Based Structure – commissions on new business and renewals. Earnings can translate into the following:
2. 1st Year: $60K to $80K
3. 2nd Year: $85K to $115K
4. 3rd Year: $120K to $175K+
5. Convenient Office Location – Close to major highways and city centre transit.

7. Flexible Work Models – Options for remote, hybrid, or in-office work (Remote available after initial training is completed).
