General Description
In your position as a broker team member, you will report to senior management and be an important member of the Obvi Team. Excellent communication skills and proficiency using a suite of software products to ensure the timely processing of all duties and responsibilities are requirements of this position. It is also a requirement of this position to obtain and maintain a minimum of a valid General Level 1 insurance licence within the territories Obvi Inc. operates. Responsibilities & Requirements
- Proficient in modern sales methods
- Highly proficient with computer software including CRM systems such as Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and various CRM/BMS Systems
- Self-starter and task-oriented
- Motivation to connect with dozens of customers by phone/email/sms each day
- Ability to understand the needs of the customer
- Capability of understanding and explaining insurance offerings and providing the appropriate insurance coverage
- Strong problem-solving and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Familiarity with the automotive market and vehicles is an asset, enabling you to better understand customer needs and tailor solutions
Customer Service & Sales
- Maintain a courteous and customer-first focus to deliver exceptional customer service and sales experiences to potential customers and answer customer inquiries through phone, online chat, and email
- Keep informed and have deep knowledge of our products and services
- Gather complete and accurate information from customers to follow up and provide the most appropriate product offerings
- Follow up with potential customers via email and phone communication in a timely manner and maintain and expand a database of prospects
- First point of contact for claims inquiries before it is assigned to an adjuster. Training on claims processes will be provided
Reporting & Systems
- Monitor, track and report on all marketing initiatives and provide key insights to maximize results and drive engagement
- Compile insights and commentary for presentation in Month End Reports as well as marketing campaign reports
- Track and report customer engagement using various software systems
- Use and maintain company CRM
