Inside Sales Representative

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Toronto office. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales and engineering teams in meeting and responding to customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a professional who has excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Entry of Sales Orders.
2. Be the point of contact between S&C and the customer on their purchase order and respond to customer inquiries.
3. Work with Outside Sales and the Application Engineering team members to meet customer requirements.
4. Manage shipping arrangements for all S&C products and maintain sales orders for the commercial and industrial markets.
5. Prioritize and schedule workloads.

Minimum Requirements

1. College Diploma in business administration or a similar field.
2. 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role.
3. Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.
4. Project management skills and experience following project timelines and using Gantt charts.
5. Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
6. A team player who also can work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Good problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. Experience with Oracle and Salesforce is an asset.

Physical Effort:

Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days WFH)
