Overview:
Are you someone who wants an opportunity to get into an outside sales position? This role will be an inside sales position with the opportunity to move into an outside sales position. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting sales and services of our client. Working as a team member, you will report to the General Manager. You will provide sales support & customer development to clients as required. You will work on prospecting new clients and developing those customers and relationships. You will actively work to grow the business and increase sales.

What you will be doing:

  1. Ensure internal database of customers through use of CRM.
  2. Provide ongoing feedback to the General Manager regarding bids and client feedback and pricing information.
  3. Support customer inquiries and sales on a day-to-day basis.
  4. Manage any accounts, clients, suppliers as directed by the General Manager or President (TBD).
  5. Actively pursue expanding client base as agreed upon with the General Manager or President (TBD).

Customers:

  1. Prospecting new customers to gain opportunities to quote on their projects.
  2. Provide quotations to customers as required and follow up with those customers to close sales.
  3. Upon project award, turn over to inside sales to process the orders and manage the projects (you will be kept “in the loop” throughout project duration).
  4. When new customers are brought on board, stay involved with these customers to build upon those relationships to have them become an ongoing regular customer.

What you must have:

  1. 2+ years experience as an Inside Sales, customer service rep or related position within the oil & gas industry or manufacturing industry.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Organized, detailed, attention to detail.
  4. Desire to learn and grow.
  5. Ability to be in the office full-time with opportunities to meet clients.
  6. Strong computer skills; experience with a CRM is beneficial.

Salary/Rate Range: $65,000 – $70,000
