Job Description

At WonderFil Specialty Threads, we’re seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell the products and services that our customers rely on. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.

Objectives of this role

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure they receive exceptional service, while identifying opportunities for new sales and growth within the account.
  2. Proactively identify and engage with prospects, set appointments, and conduct effective sales calls to close new business across all service categories.
  3. Utilize in-depth product knowledge to effectively handle objections, and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  4. Achieve sales targets by assessing client needs, presenting appropriate products or services, and following a structured selling process, including product education and presentations.
  5. Collaborate with fellow sales representatives to ensure quotas are being met and company standards are consistently upheld.
  6. Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, addressing questions, and resolving any concerns in a professional manner.
  7. Exhibit strong public speaking skills to present products and services confidently to potential customers by phone and in person.
  8. Effectively communicate through calling, negotiating sales terms, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage time efficiently, meeting deadlines and sales quotas consistently.
  10. Continuously monitor industry trends and client feedback to improve sales strategies and approaches.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a similar industry.
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address client needs effectively.
  4. Proficiency with sales management software and CRM systems.
  5. Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism to close sales.
  6. Ability to meet deadlines and exceed sales quotas.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts.
  8. Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events.
  9. Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections.
  11. Capacity to analyze customer data to identify opportunities for business growth.
  12. Knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.

Preferred

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
  2. Proven success in exceeding sales quotas.
  3. Sales certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Sales Executive (CSE) are a plus.
  4. Experience in delivering product demonstrations or presentations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
