Innovation Manager - Brand Strategy & Performance Marketing
Location: 3500 Dufferin Street, Toronto ON (close to Yorkdale Mall).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional hours as needed.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000, based on proven experience and skill level.

Job Overview:
At HomeLife Realty Services Inc., we are on the hunt for a strategic and innovative marketer who can drive the evolution of our brand and service offerings to elevate our franchise network and help us continue to lead the real estate franchising industry. As our Innovation Manager - Brand Strategy & Performance Marketing, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that not only grow our luxury real estate brand but also create lasting value for our franchise members. You’ll collaborate across teams - including marketing, communications, technology, and operations-to develop innovative, data-driven solutions that elevate our brand, improve member services, and drive performance.
This is not a role for someone looking to simply “execute” marketing campaigns. We are looking for a visionary strategist who can think holistically about our brand’s growth, enhance the service offerings we provide to our franchise members, and spearhead the implementation of initiatives that align with the evolving needs of the real estate franchise industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy Development: Lead the creation of innovative marketing strategies that enhance the HomeLife Realty brand and elevate the services we offer to our franchise members. Ensure marketing strategies support the overall business goals and position our brand as a leader in the luxury real estate franchising space.
- Service Offering Enhancement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance the services and support offered to our franchisees. This includes developing tools, resources, and marketing initiatives that help franchisees deliver exceptional service to their clients.
- Competitive & Market Analysis: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive advantages, and opportunities for innovation. Stay on top of real estate franchising industry trends to ensure HomeLife’s service offerings are always cutting-edge.
- Go-to-Market & Launch Strategy: Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new services, tools, or innovations that benefit our franchisees. Ensure these strategies are scalable and adaptable for use across different markets and geographic regions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, creative, technology, and operations teams to ensure the seamless execution of brand and marketing initiatives that align with business goals and deliver value to our franchisees and their clients.
- Brand & Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of compelling brand messaging and content strategies that resonate with the brand. Ensure consistency across all touchpoints—digital, print, social media, and more.
- Performance Marketing & Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Continuously optimize strategies based on data to maximize ROI and brand visibility.
- Franchise Member Support: Develop programs, resources, and campaigns that help franchisees elevate their own businesses, build brand recognition in their markets, and stand out in the competitive real estate landscape. Support franchisees with the tools and strategies to adopt and implement marketing initiatives that reflect the brand’s core values and luxury positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Bilingualism: Fluent in both French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with franchisees and internal teams in both languages.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business consulting, marketing strategy, or performance marketing within marketing agencies, real estate franchising, or retail. Previous experience supporting franchise networks or working within the real estate industry is a significant advantage.
- Real Estate & Franchising Knowledge: Familiarity with the real estate franchising model, including how franchisees operate, the tools and services they require, and how to tailor marketing strategies to support their success.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong ability to analyze data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuously optimize marketing initiatives. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Adwords, Social Media Metrics, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across teams (marketing, technology, operations, etc.) to execute complex initiatives and ensure strategic alignment.
- Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to envision and implement long-term brand and service strategies that align with franchise goals and business objectives.
- Client-Facing Communication: Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including franchisees, senior leadership, and partners, to communicate strategies and gather feedback.
- Nice to Have: A background in real estate marketing, franchise development, or previous work in luxury brand positioning is a plus.
