We're seeking someone to join our Enterprise Systems Management team as an Infrastructure Engineering Specialist in Application Infrastructure to develop an Observability platform that provides visibility into Cloud and Onprem application for Tracing/Metrics/Logging.

This is a Software Engineering III position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. What you’ll do in the role:

1. Drive modern Observability platform that covers Cloud-native and hybrid applications.
2. Work with a team of talented and dedicated peers with hands-on experience in cutting-edge cloud and Observability products.
3. Share best practices and create innovative application monitoring standards and Observability solutions to support cloud adoption at the firm.
4. Work with various streaming technologies to handle TBs of telemetry data each day.
5. Provide telemetry and logging capabilities to developers and SRE organizations as part of the firm's DevOps efforts.

Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Experience working with Python or Golang.
3. Experience instrumenting applications for transaction tracing and metric collection.
4. Able to persuade stakeholders and champion effective techniques through product development.
5. Solid understanding of container technologies and container orchestration platforms.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
7. Ability to provide mentoring and contribute to local office leadership.
8. Proficiency with Linux operating system and databases.
9. Understanding of how various software components involved in enterprise service delivery interact: web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, network attached storage, and so forth.
