Job Description

The Information Technology Support Specialist will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Tarbiyah Academy. The selected candidate will act as the primary point of contact for all technical support needs for faculty, staff, and students. They will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting all hardware, software, and networking systems to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the school's technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support for all technology-related issues for faculty, staff, and students.
2. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networking systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computers, printers, and other devices.
4. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on all systems to ensure optimal performance.
5. Train staff and students on the proper use and care of technology equipment.
6. Manage inventory of hardware and software and maintain records of equipment and licenses.
7. Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement new technology solutions for the school.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in technology.
9. Adhere to school policies and procedures related to technology usage and security.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.
2. 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
4. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
8. A commitment to maintaining confidential information.
