We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, organized, detail-oriented candidate with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to join our team.
ISN is actively recruiting a skilled professional to support the DCSA Case Processing Operations Center. The Information Technology (IT) Manager will serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and will meet the minimum training requirements as outlined in Technical Exhibit A. This role requires a proven track record in managing IT security operations, with a focus on ensuring compliance with federal standards. A Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
Functional Responsibilities
- Serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO), ensuring compliance with all federal IT security requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT security program.
- Oversee the security posture of the organization's information systems, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential security risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Manage and monitor security incidents and events, coordinating responses and remediation efforts.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide guidance and support for the secure configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of security-related activities, including security plans, incident reports, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to ensure effective security measures are in place.
- Prepare and submit security reports, briefings, and other documentation as required by the contract.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance IT security.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders regarding IT security matters.
- Stay current with emerging IT security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's security posture.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT security management or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT security programs.
- Proven ability to manage and respond to security incidents and events.
- In-depth knowledge of federal IT security laws, regulations, and policies.
- Proficiency in IT security tools and technologies.
- U.S. citizenship and current Top Secret security clearance.
- Must be capable of obtaining SCI access that includes a requirement to pass a security CI polygraph exam.
