Job Description:

The Information Security Specialist will be responsible for building and leading the Business Continuity Management Plan across Protect Operations functions of Cyber and Fraud Threat Management and Physical Security. This role is an integral member of the Protect Operations Strategic Services team accountable for overall strategic and critical reporting functions.

This individual will lead the Business Continuity Planning and Compliance requirements across Operational teams, track and manage deliverables to ensure compliance, document response plans, identify control gaps, and ensure appropriate remediation. The individual will also create, plan, and execute test scenarios for yearly compliance and be the main point of contact for crisis coordination and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead business continuity plans across Operations, facilitating standards and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans, including incident response procedures and disaster recovery strategies.
• Assist in coordinating the Bank's enterprise crisis management protocol.
• Provide analysis and reporting on exercises and incidents, tracking findings and action plans.
• Design, execute, and document exercises and tests of the Bank's incident/crisis management protocols.
• Review and enhance the Bank's Standards and Guidelines for exercises and tests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of business continuity plans.
• Monitor the external environment for potential threats and update the program accordingly.
• Provide training and awareness to employees on the business continuity program.
• Prepare Business Continuity reports and assist with executive presentations as needed.
• Manage the bank's emergency notification system.
• Participate in 'on-call' manager duties in support of the EBCCM Event Management escalation function.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in operations production and technology environments within the financial services industry.
• 5+ years of Project management experience with strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of Business Continuity Management processes and best practices.
• Prior experience in Business Continuity Management practices and protocols.
• Understanding of Operational risk and resilience, Business Process improvement methods, and risk-related control frameworks.
• Familiarity with cyber security, fraud technologies, and collaboration tools.
• Expert communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to think critically and listen actively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3/4-year degree in a related field (technology, security, risk management, finance).
• Industry certification in BCI, PMI, CCSA, CISA, CA, CCSP, ISC, ITIL, CISSP, Sec+, or other relevant certifications.
• 5+ years managing projects of moderate to high complexity.
• 2+ years in risk management frameworks.
