Are you an experienced leader in records management with a passion for ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency? We are seeking a dynamic Information/Records Management Supervisor to oversee the digitization and management of our client's corporate records.


As the Information/Records Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the records team in the efficient and compliant handling of physical and digital records. Working on an as-needed basis, you will ensure all aspects of records management—from retrieval and digitization to storage and archiving—are executed to the highest standards, aligning with corporate policies and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  1. Utilize advanced imaging equipment to convert paper records into digital formats, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  2. Assist with the preparation, scanning, and quality review of documents in specified electronic locations.
  3. Document employee attendance and timesheet submittals, reporting employee progress to upper management.
  4. Assign tasks to employees while keeping up to date on changing priorities.
  5. Prepare documents with pre-defined operating procedures.
  6. Perform a preliminary quality control to confirm an effective product.
  7. Save and label files to a digital repository.
  8. Check each scanned record to confirm that the record is complete, and the quality meets prescribed standards.
  9. Attend periodic meetings to discuss progress, issues, priorities, and opportunities.
  10. May be asked to perform other duties related to imaging and maintenance of paper file collection.

Qualifications

  1. Secret-level Security Clearance (must be actively held).
  2. Post-secondary education is preferred.
  3. Fluent in English or French or both.
  4. Experience in records management or document digitization, particularly in a corporate or government setting.
  5. Some experience in a Supervisor / Team Lead position.
  6. Recent experience using computer databases for electronic data entry or administrative tasks.
  7. Familiar with computer databases such as Microsoft Access or Oracle.
  8. Knowledgeable with quality control guidelines and verifying scanned files.
  9. Ability to use desktop scanners and software to scan important documents.
