The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance COE (Centre of Excellence) team is made up of Security/Privacy/Compliance experts with the skills to provide expert services in support of all key stakeholders (Genesys Sales, Pre-sales, Customers, Partners, Prospects, external auditors etc.). The team is the single point of contact for all security, privacy & compliance related field engagements. Team activities include consulting, architecture support, ownership of customer-requested audits and security terms contractual support.
Responsibilities:
- You will be a subject matter expert for all security, privacy & compliance field engagements for Genesys Cloud solution.
- Participate and own engagements with partners, prospects, customers and internal teams for subjects relating to security, privacy & compliance discussions, including explaining security, privacy and compliance policies, controls, processes and evidence presentation for Genesys Cloud Services and Genesys Corporate.
- Contribute to customer requested security audits/assessments; collaborate with other global & regional teams for timely completion of these requests as assigned.
- You will work to enable our Genesys teams, and partners, ensuring a solid foundation of security understanding is established and that they have the skills needed to be successful.
- Role is focused on supporting North America, but you will also be required to assist the global COE team by owning other global security, privacy & compliance engagements as/if required.
- Our team DNA is innovation; every team member is also required to contribute to ongoing internal team global projects which are key to our scalability and success. (For example, creation of vertical, country, or regional compliances, documentations, presentations, demos, and best practices.)

Must Have:
- Show Empathy, Passion, Energy and a Willingness to go above and beyond.
- Bachelor’s degree within Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field of study or related security certifications.
- Good knowledge of Amazon web services (AWS) and supporting technology stack.
- Good knowledge within Cyber Security/Networking/Application Security (firewalls, Oauth, SAML etc.).
- Prior proven professional experience as a security engineer for cloud-native SAAS solutions.
- Be a Team Player; be adaptable, able to multi-task, and be ready to travel on short notice.
- Ability to work independently with little guidance and be detail oriented.
- Flexible and adaptable to all work environments.
- Work in-line with team and company standards.
- Goal-oriented and have the self-discipline to complete all work tasks on time.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Fluency in the English language is required.
- Up to 20% local and international travel can be required.
- Ability to work at a computer terminal 90% of the typical workday.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in cloud native SAAS applications penetration testing.
- Software as a Service experience within customer experience or contact center industry.
- Prior Genesys products hands-on experience, in an operational, professional services or presales role.
- Security, Privacy or Compliance Vertical Experience (Finance & Healthcare).
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence use within customer services.
- Deployment and operation experience of products in a containerized environment, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
- Fluency in written and spoken French.
