Informatica ETL Developer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Over 8+ years of IT experience in Data Warehouse Environment in System Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing fields of Data Warehousing, Client server technologies with ETL tool Informatica 9.x, 8.x.
2. Expertise in all activities related to the development, implementation, administration, and support of ETL processes for large-scale data warehouses using Power Center and Power Exchange.
3. Experience in Data Warehouse/Data Mart Development Life Cycle and performed ETL procedure to load data from different sources systems Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Mainframe, MySQL, Composite, Matrix, Salesforce.com, and Flat Files into data warehouse using Informatica Power Center.
4. Extensively used Informatica tools, Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager.
5. Proficient in writing complex PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Performance tuning, Application tuning, and Query Optimization using Hints, Explain plan.
6. Worked on Job Monitoring tools IBM Control-M, Cron Scheduler, Tivoli Maestro, Autosys.
7. Hands-on experience in tuning mappings, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels like sources, targets, mappings, and sessions.
8. Worked in production support role, maintained and monitored Informatica jobs. Extensively worked on Control-M monitoring tool and Informatica monitoring tools to identify the Informatica data load, server connectivity issues.
9. Worked on Impact Analysis to identify the dependencies using Metadata Manager for lineage and extensively used Metadata queries for validating/analysis of Production Support jobs.
10. Strong experience in UNIX shell scripting. Created scripts for calling pmcmd command, file watcher, FTP, and file archiving scripts. Experience in writing UNIX Shell Script / Batch Script for various ETL/Database jobs and schedules.
11. Worked on Agile Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Perform Release Management by undertaking Agile Methodology's Sprints.
