Location: G3 Thunder Bay

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role of the Industrial Millwright is to carry out efficient Mechanical Maintenance of the Terminal's infrastructures and equipment. The Industrial Millwright must work closely with both the mechanical and electrical maintenance staff and operation departments in accordance with the procedures and policies of G3 Canada Limited.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

• Enter performed work details into work order system as required.
• Perform duties as directed by the General Manager, the Operations Manager or designate.
• Work as directed on plant infrastructure and materials handling systems which may include:
• Belt Conveyors (Enclosed, Air Supported and Conventional)
• Bucket Elevators
• Screw Conveyors
• Dust Collection Systems
• Grain Cleaning equipment
• Drag conveyors
• Pneumatic Equipment
• Fans
• Electrical Systems
• Participate in provided training requirements as set out by G3 Thunder Bay management.
• Holding safety as paramount, mitigate and report immediate hazards to superiors. Recommend safety improvements.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and job hazard assessment reviews.
• Apply and adhere to Lock-Out-Tag-Out equipment isolation protocols.
• Do quality work and adhere to terminal housekeeping and food safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Qualification for Industrial Millwright
• Familiarity with maintenance requirements of heavy industrial materials handling systems.
• 5 years minimum experience an asset. Experience in an industrial plant setting preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, quality of work, troubleshooting ability, and exceptional safety record.
