REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. They must oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Basic understanding of electrical system distribution.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong initiative and a go-getter attitude.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite applications (Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical or Associate’s degree or certification in Automation or PLC.
- Experience with parametric and industrial control systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Forward-thinking with a desire for innovation, creativity, and continued education.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair breakdowns related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform teardown, repair, replacement, and reassembly of equipment components such as motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical units.
- Conduct regular maintenance on building equipment, including sprinkler systems, pumps, chillers, compressors, and power distribution systems.
- Assist with ordering parts, standardizing components, and maintaining inventory for repairs.
- Support outside contractors on-site as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize Microsoft such as Visio, Excel, Word, and Outlook for documentation and reporting.
- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
