Description

Stantec Buildings is on a mission to become the world’s leading integrated design practice. Our architects, engineers, interior designers, sustainability specialists, and technologists are passionate about the power of design. We take an innovative, collaborative approach to projects, sharing a common belief that sustainable design for the built environment can make the world a better place for future generations. Join us and design your place with Stantec.

The Vancouver Industrial Studio offers services for all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-project planning through to detailed design for engineering analysis studies, and construction documents for capital investment projects. This is where great ideas and rewarding careers are built. Exercising creativity and ingenuity, our team develops unique solutions for our clients that integrate people, materials, equipment, and information in productive ways. Our professionals deliver convenient, integrated, and practical solutions to complex industrial problems.

A key factor in the success of the Industrial Studio has been our commitment to a fully integrated architecture/engineering design approach in which our team – made up of the owner, client, stakeholders, user groups, and Stantec – share ideas and information freely and communicate decisions and direction quickly and effectively. The Industrial Engineering team is a key factor to the success of the studio, performing the front-end studies to understand our clients’ operations, define future requirements, and develop efficient processes as a basis for the facility design work.

  • Develop and apply interdisciplinary coordination experience to evaluate facility and operational tradeoffs, determine practical design solutions, and mitigate potential project issues as early as possible in the project.

  • Execute work in an organized manner, adhering to standards and processes, project management framework, and project documentation policies.

  • Communicate proactively and effectively with colleagues at the team, studio, and project level.

Qualifications
