Industrial Engineer, helping us streamline our processes and optimize operations within our dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Provide input on packing concepts and systems within program value stream to ensure effective and efficient utilization of pack.
- Design and layout facility equipment to optimize workflow, efficiency, and space utilization, within associated assembly processes.
- Conduct time studies and methods analysis to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation.
- Ensure a personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).
- Understand the mechanics of plant equipment for processing, testing and inspecting product components/assembly as well as understand quality/manufacturing/engineering methods and practices.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience We're Looking For- Post secondary degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering preferred; a combination of education, training and years working experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Proficient in CAD software and other simulation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adept at working collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
