What you’ll get to do

• Analyze drawings and electrical code specifications to plan layouts for industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Execute installation, replacement, and repair of various electrical components, including wiring, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and conduits, adhering to CSA, UL, customer, and company standards.
• Conduct testing on electrical and electronic equipment to assess continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Install and test electrical motors, transformers, and control systems, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems.
• Reference layouts and specifications to install cable trays and raceways, as well as assist in wiring and mounting electrical enclosure panels.
• Prepare controls/electrical kits using company databases and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and calibration of industrial electrical equipment at customer locations.
• Provide operational data and technical information to the Controls Engineering department for equipment modifications and process improvements.
• Travel may be required for equipment installation, launch and other support phases.
• Support any facility maintenance and electrical needs.

What we’re looking for

• Experienced Experts: Certified as either a 442A or 309A Electrician, contribute to the advancement of customized equipment with your proficiency in comprehending engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams, particularly in the context of electrical systems and programmable logic controllers.
