Our client, located in Ingersoll ON, is in search of an Industrial Electrician to join their team.
Must be able to work all three shifts rotation
$43.85/hour with a shift premium of $0.85/hour for afternoons and $1.00/hour for midnights.
The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems in our facility. This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to work independently to ensure optimal production uptime.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, check, inspect, repair, maintain, commission, test, service electrical systems including PLCs and related electrical controls, devices, and equipment.
Interact with employees at all levels of the organization while reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
PLC troubleshooting and programming for large automation production lines, both on shop floor and remote interaction. Allen Bradley and Siemens.
Install, wire, and troubleshoot new and existing equipment.
Maintain and repair all plant equipment and systems including OKUMA, FUJI, and MIYANO CNC MACHINES.
Be willing to work in a hands-on environment.
Ensure compliance with the Ontario electrical code.
Navigating and creating standard PLC structures and programming for PLCs.
PLC interfacing and programming control for integration of YASKAWA Robotics.
Integrate safe machine control using safety PLC structure and architectural design.
Programming data collection flow and archiving historical data for analysis.
HMI programming for machine interface.
Programming and troubleshooting motion control and VFD applications.
Mechanical and pneumatic support as related to a controls process.
Understand conventional and servo hydraulic systems for piercing and forming processes.
Follow and abide by all government regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
