Industrial Electrician

Position: Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Department: Maintenance
Location: Hamilton area
Shift: Continental Rotating Shift
Pay: $40.17 per hour + Shift Premium on Days and Nights
Industry: Manufacturing

Requirements:

1. Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician #442A or Construction Maintenance Electrician #309A.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Licensed Electrician on CNC equipment.
3. Experience with maintaining and servicing 3, 3+2 or 5 Axis CNC Machining Centers, Boring Mills, etc.
4. Electrical work experience in automotive industry or CNC machine shop.
5. Ability to work independently on troubleshooting machinery and performing electrical repairs.
6. Perform Electrical PM’s on all machinery and equipment.
7. Knowledgeable on the construction and practical application of various machines in the CNC machining department.
8. Run conduits of all sizes, install panel boards and disconnects, wire devices for feeder and branch circuits.
9. Ability to problem solve and repair drive systems on conveyor systems.
10. Understand and problem solve various types of drive motors and drive modules.
11. Understand and problem solve measurement and feedback systems for CNC machines.
12. Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and their operation.
13. Ability to perform electrical maintenance of general plant and building systems.
14. Strong knowledge of computer software and hardware.
15. Strong knowledge of industrial electronics.
16. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS.
17. Strong ability to effectively analyze situations and problem solve.
