About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Industrial Designer to collaborate on an exciting project with a first-time founder building a sustainability-focused brand. This is a unique opportunity to shape products that prioritize eco-friendly materials, innovative functionality, and cutting-edge design to create meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can transform ideas into tangible, market-ready products while aligning with the brand’s mission of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop sustainable product concepts that balance form, function, and environmental impact.
2. Conduct research on materials, manufacturing methods, and sustainable design trends to inform product development.
3. Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions.
4. Collaborate closely with the founder to understand their vision, values, and target audience.
5. Work with manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable.
6. Optimize product designs for scalability, durability, and minimal environmental footprint.
7. Stay informed on innovative sustainable design techniques and industry best practices.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience working with startups or first-time founders.
2. Knowledge of lifecycle analysis (LCA) and certifications related to sustainable product design.
3. Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques and technologies.
