Industrial Cleaning Field Supervisor

GFL is looking for experienced Industrial Field Supervisors to join our team for various short and long-term shutdown projects across British Columbia and Alberta. The Candidate would work closely with project managers to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule. This position offers seasonal employment starting in the spring with potential to work late into the fall with the possibility of extensions.

• Oversee work crew and monitor day to day performance
• Organize and delegate workers tasks
• Continuously monitor workers for performance and identify areas of improvement
• Establish and maintain GFL culture of “Save for Life” and ensure workers performance is in line with expectations
• Monitor schedule and project milestones
• Provide on the job training and mentor workers
• Intervene and coach workers on policies and procedures

• Requires class 5 license, class 1 or 3 are an asset

• Able to work nightshifts and up to 12 hour shifts, including in inclement weather.
• Able to work at heights and enter confined spaces
• Capable of standing for long durations, climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
