The Sport Services team in the City’s Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department is looking for an IMPACT Associate to support and grow community-driven sports and recreation programs. In this dynamic role, you’ll play an integral part in planning and delivering innovative programs—from inclusive sports programs and multicultural youth events to special projects.

WORK FROM HOME
The successful candidate for this posting may be eligible for participation in a hybrid, work from home arrangement in alignment with the City’s Work from Home Policy. Such arrangements are determined with each employee and subject to change based on operational needs and policy direction.
POSITION FUNCTION
As an IMPACT Initiative Associate hired under the City of Victoria’s Inclusive Municipal Program for Advancing Careers and Training, you will be given meaningful and challenging assignments while being introduced to a career in municipal government. In this Associate position, you will assist with projects within a specific City department, contribute to the overall goals of the work unit, have job shadowing opportunities, and participate in educational experiences.

Physical Effort: Sit with arms unsupported while keyboarding. (occasional)
Mental Effort: Meet multiple deadlines. (occasional)
Visual/Auditory Effort: Focus on a variety of source data and computer for short periods. (occasional)
