Job Summary
As an Analyst for our Immunogenicity team located at the Senneville site, you will primarily analyze the immune response induced by biotherapeutics, including gene and cell therapies, as well as biologics and vaccines in order to determine the safety and efficacy of drugs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform various immunoassays and enzyme assays on multiple platforms including antibody assay by ELISA and Electrochemiluminescence (ECL), performing cell culture as well as bioassays, protein purification, dialysis, and labelling. Various automation platforms can also be used, such as the Biomek, the Gyros and the Hamilton.
- Perform method development, validation, and sample analysis.
- Document and process analytical data according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Minimum Qualifications
- Holder of a DEC in Science (Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory, or equivalent) or a BAC in Science (Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry).
- Ability to work under time constraints, outstanding organizational skills, and ability to adapt to changes.
- Work with precision, pay attention to detail and strive for quality work.
- Self-starter with a collaborative and positive attitude.
- Reading comprehension in English is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred.
Role Specific Information
- Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site.
- Salary: Starting at 23$/hrs.
- Annual bonus based on performance.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:15pm.
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
