The team at Dr. A. M. Kahane Dental located in Fernie, BC is looking for a passionate, hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist on a full-time, permanent basis.

The ideal Registered Dental Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs.

The ideal Registered Dental Hygienist will be the newest member of our close-knit Team. At Dr. A. M. Kahane Dental, we pride ourselves on our Team dynamics and family atmosphere. We are a small, but very busy office with huge growth potential. Operating with 2 Dentists, 2 Hygienists, 1 Orthodontist and 1 Endodontist, we cover most aspects of oral health under one roof. SCHEDULE:
32-40 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:45am – 5:00pm; Thursday 10:45am – 7:00pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

1. Currently registered or in process of registering with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
2. New graduates welcome!
3. Experience with dental practice management software such as Cleardent is considered an asset, but not required
4. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
5. Customer service mindset
6. Loupes are required
