ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking two (2) summer students to join us for a 3–4 month temporary position starting in May/June 2025 to gain hands-on experience at our Seebe and Spray Hydro Plants in the Bow Valley region.
Reporting directly to the Hydro Supervisors, the students will be responsible for duties such as grass mowing, raking, weeding, site upkeep, and assisting in the planning and coordination of work tasks. Additionally, you will participate in training programs to ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
The Bow Valley Hydro Team Consists of Operations, Maintenance, and Supervisory staff responsible for the safe and profitable operation of seven hydro plants, including fourteen separate generating units, on the Bow River and Kananaskis River, West of Calgary.
This is a safety-sensitive position. The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing.
