HVAC Technician

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our client's team in Don Mills, ON. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $115,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively across various sites.

Responsibilities:

1. Following direction from your direct manager.
2. Understanding and complying with Environmental Health & Safety policies.
3. Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
4. Performing inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
5. Operating, maintaining, servicing, and installing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
6. Installing wiring and cabling, calibrating related controls.
7. Measuring, cutting, bending, and connecting pipes to functional components.
8. Collaborating with vendors and organizing work logistics.
9. Preparing work estimates and appropriately scheduling work.
10. Operating DDC software and monitoring system alerts.
11. Developing SOPs and documentation as needed.
12. Conducting troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
13. Maintaining assigned tools and equipment safely.
14. Ensuring safe seasonal start-ups and shutdowns of HVAC systems.
15. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience working on HVAC/Refrigeration equipment.
3. Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning license.
4. G1 or G2 gas license.
5. Valid driver's license and ability to work at multiple locations.
6. Ontario Freon Handling (ODP) license.
7. Boiler experience and maintenance skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
9. Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
