HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Union Local 787 HVAC Technician to join our team. 313A and G1 Licenses required. Union benefits, uniform, company vehicle, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC-related issues. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining and servicing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation units.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
• Repair or replace defective parts such as compressors, motors, or pumps.
• Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in appliance repair, plumbing, welding, and building related structures or systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
