HVAC Technician

Job description

Duties:

1. Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.
4. Inspect and test HVAC systems to identify any potential problems or malfunctions.
5. Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure proper installation and operation of HVAC systems.
6. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
4. Proficient in using tools and equipment commonly used in HVAC work.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Skills:

1. Extensive knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
2. Experience in repairing various types of appliances.
3. Knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to perform basic plumbing tasks.
4. Understanding of building structures and ability to work with construction materials.
5. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment.
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
7. Strong mechanical skills for diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
8. Solid understanding of mechanical principles related to HVAC systems.
9. Knowledge of boiler operations and ability to perform maintenance tasks.
10. Basic welding skills for repairing or fabricating metal components.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
