HVAC Technician

Job description:

TRI-AIR Systems is a leading HVAC service and maintenance company with our office and shop located in Markham. We service the GTA and the surrounding areas. We are a union company (Local 787) and are hiring a talented HVAC Service MECHANIC or registered apprentice (Year 2-4) to join our team. MUST BE LIVING IN THE GTA, ONTARIO.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Mechanic (313A), will consider registered apprentice.
2. Have your G2 license, G1 is preferred.
3. Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
5. Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job.
6. Ability to work independently without much supervision.
7. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
8. Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract.
9. Ability to effectively manage time.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment.
2. Educate our clients on how to use and maintain their equipment.
3. Perform scheduled and emergency service on a variety of HVAC equipment.
4. Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them.
5. Order parts needed for repairs if necessary.
6. Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
7. Complete quote sheets for work recommended.
8. Explain issues with equipment and repairs to clients.
9. Build and maintain relationships with clients.

Job Types:

1. Full-time, Part-time.

Salary:

$52.89 per hour / $80,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
