What will you do?

  1. Perform tasks in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems.
  2. Action work orders, investigate tenant/client complaints, identify solutions, and resolve problems with HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
  3. Start HVAC systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure the system is functioning accurately.
  4. Assemble, install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems and components.
  5. Complete maintenance duties as required in accordance with code requirements and Edon/client standards (e.g., minor adjustments, changing filters, inspecting fans, replacing/lubricating belts and couplings; assisting with preventive maintenance and completing associated documentation).
  6. Adhere to Edon's Quality Management System policies as well as OHS legislation and regulations.

What are we looking for?

  1. Minimum of four years of experience as a licensed Technician.
  2. Holds a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician certificate.
  3. Journeyman certificate in the area of HVAC (e.g., Sheet Metal, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) considered an asset.
  4. Minimum four years' operational experience in facility operations.
  5. Ability to read plans as applied to technical areas.
  6. Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  7. Owns basic HVAC tools to perform maintenance and repairs.
  8. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  9. Holds a valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning certificate.
  10. Experience in exercising good judgment under pressure.
  11. Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
