About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Manager of Human Resources leads the routine functions of the Human Resources department including recruitment and retention, performance management, administering leaves, workplace investigations, and enforcing company policies and practices, all while ensuring legal compliance. In addition, the Manager provides human resources expertise, counsel, and sound advice to leaders to attract, retain, and move staff towards high performance through engaging in equitable people systems, practices, and advice. The Manager will ensure that all human resource operations are carried on smoothly and effectively.
Primary responsibilities:
Education:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
CPHR designation required.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of human resource management experience required.
A minimum of five years experience supervising and evaluating the work of others; providing leadership to subordinate staff.
Proven experience in leading change initiatives.
Conditions of Employment:
Satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, and Prior Contact Check required.

WORK LOCATION: Head Office - 175 Mayfair Avenue, some travel may be required.
HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
