We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Mississauga! You will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources including labor relations, training and development, employee engagement, recruiting, and compensation and benefits. This is a hands-on role with a high involvement in day-to-day activities that requires onsite presence (this is not a remote position). The position may require limited travel within the U.S. and Canada. The role will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources.

Your Challenge:
Management of employee and labor relations, grievances, arbitrations, and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements
Training and leadership development initiatives required at the business unit
Provide direction and coaching to management and employees on effective resolution of issues
Identify and interpret legal requirements affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Advise management on legislative changes affecting HR programs.
Responsible for the administration of salary administration program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated abilities for coaching and counseling managers and employees at all levels
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization while being a strong relationship builder
Will be a member of the Senior Management team and must demonstrate HR value in all work-related venues
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years of experience in Human Resources
3+ years in supervisory/management role preferred
Previous labor relations experience is required
Professional HR designation is preferred
Experience with Human Capital tools preferred (e.g. Workday, Oracle, etc.)
