Our real estate development client is in need of an experienced Human Resources Manager to assume full, day-to-day responsibility for all human resources activities including (but not limited to):

1. Talent Acquisition
2. Employee Relations and Engagement
3. Performance Management and Development
4. Policy Development and Compliance
5. HR Strategic Planning
6. HR Operations
7. Workforce Compliance and Risk Management

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Degree in business, human resources, or related; CHRP is an asset but not required
2. Strong understanding of human resources functions gained through several years of recent and relevant employment
3. Strong understanding of Ontario employment regulations and laws
4. HRIS and benefits management software experience
5. Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred) both verbal and written
6. Knowledge of real estate development and construction industry preferred but consideration will be given to those that meet the language, educational, and experience requirements.

This is a newly created position that will report to an EVP/General Manager and support executives, line managers, and all staff. The position is fully onsite – there is no remote/hybrid offered. A car allowance is provided as is free parking. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and open to growth as this company expands its business in the GTA and beyond.
