Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager based in Dieppe, New Brunswick. As Human Resources Manager you will be a key strategic partner, reporting to the Human Resources Director and supporting one specific business in our division. Your practical and hands-on approach will allow you to actively contribute to the organizational success, and your ability to communicate effectively, build trust and influence will set the tone for your achievements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead employee relations functions, development and implementation of HR policies & programs.
  • Drive positive employee relations through building relationships, engagement planning & activities along with problem resolution.
  • Proactively cultivate and promote best practices while providing day-to-day advice, consultation, and support in the areas of recruitment, performance management, coaching, and employee engagement.
  • Support hiring and onboarding activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with employees on HR matters within the scope of the role.
  • Drive HR efficiencies and effectiveness in alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with the HR business leaders to determine best practices for employee experience.
  • Implement a wide variety of Human Resources projects and initiatives and ensure alignment through our business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in delivering Human Resources services.
  • A CPHR designation completed or in progress.
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, problem solving, judgment, and decision-making ability.
  • Experienced change agent and employee champion.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused, results-driven team player.
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Expertise in providing hands-on support to employees and managers in a broad range of HR functions including Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Training, and Development.
