Job Description: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Lasalle, QC
Job Type: Full-time, In-office (Monday to Friday)

Your Role:

As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee HR policies and practices, manage day-to-day HR operations, and develop our workforce to support the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hiring and onboarding:

• Coordinate two recruiters, ensuring efficient recruitment processes.
• Process all hiring and onboarding functions for seasonal employees in our units.
• Manage international recruitment and immigration processes.
• Collaborate with payroll when necessary.

• Oversee benefits administration, RRSPs, collective insurance, and employee welfare.
• Optimize ADP HR platform for administrative processes.
• Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.

• Organize training programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
• Address department-specific training needs.

• Manage workplace injury claims and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills and Experience:

• University degree in HR Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, including HR generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws and HR regulations.
• Experience managing teams, especially recruiters.
• Proficiency in HR management systems (ADP a plus).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with international recruitment and immigration.
• Strong skills in training and development.
• Experience in managing workplace injury claims.
• Bilingual (French and English).
• Experience in snow removal, landscaping, or construction (a plus).
