What you’ll be doing:
- Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will provide full cycle HR support and guidance to employees and managers across multiple business units and provinces.
- Prepare and process employment contracts and amendments for new hires, transfers, and compensation changes.
- Administer group benefits such as group health, dental, and disability plans.
- Assist and advise managers and employees on the interpretation of employment law, company policies, compensation, and benefit programs.
- Assist managers through performance management, including coaching and progressive discipline.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews. Develop and communicate recommendations based on findings.
- Monitor and ensure company compliance with changing employment laws across multiple provinces.
- Manage employee medical leaves and Workers Compensation incidents from start to finish, including the accommodation process.
- Lead workplace investigations as needed.
- Lead various projects and initiatives to advance the department and company.

We are looking for an "A Player" - that means YOU...
- Have a minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
- Have a Human Resources degree, diploma or certificate + knowledge of multiple Provincial Employment Standards Acts across Canada.
- Are adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while ensuring flexibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Have a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office programs + familiarity of Human Resources Information Management Systems (We use Bamboo HR).
- Have the ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Are service oriented with high energy, initiative, and an engaging attitude.
- Can travel occasionally to sites within Canada and between sites.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
