What you’ll be doing:

1. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HR Generalist will provide full cycle HR support and guidance to employees and managers across multiple business units and provinces.
2. Prepare and process employment contracts and amendments for new hires, transfers, and compensation changes.
3. Administer group benefits such as group health, dental, and disability plans.
4. Assist and advise managers and employees on the interpretation of employment law, company policies, compensation, and benefit programs.
5. Assist managers through performance management, including coaching and progressive discipline.
6. Conduct stay and exit interviews. Develop and communicate recommendations based on findings.
7. Monitor and ensure company compliance with changing employment laws across multiple provinces.
8. Manage employee medical leaves and Workers Compensation incidents from start to finish, including the accommodation process.
9. Lead workplace investigations as needed.
10. Lead various projects and initiatives to advance the department and company.

We are looking for an "A Player" - that means YOU...

1. Have a minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
2. Have a Human Resources degree, diploma or certificate + knowledge of multiple Provincial Employment Standards Acts across Canada.
3. Are adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while ensuring flexibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.
4. Have a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office programs + familiarity of Human Resources Information Management Systems (We use Bamboo HR).
5. Have the ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
6. Are service oriented with high energy, initiative, and an engaging attitude.
7. Can travel occasionally to sites within Canada and between sites.
8. Must possess a valid driver's license.
