Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the operation of Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all junior and intermediate jobs
  • Manage the onboarding and off-boarding process for employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed
  • Be the first point of contact for internal employees answering and assisting with any questions necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all documents are in compliance with legal and company standards
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure employee information is up to date in the HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce)
  • Provide accurate reports as needed
  • Assist with all internal company communications by creating communications that accurately reflect what needs to be relayed
  • Assist with various HR Projects, including but not limited to; engagement surveys, training and development, company events, etc.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree and/or diploma in Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience as a Human Resources Assistant, Coordinator, or Generalist
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skill in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can communicate with all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential information
  • Knowledge of HR practices, including applicable employment legislation
  • Highly motivated, and passionate about change initiatives
