Job Responsibility:

The Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce (DDCC) is seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our team as Human Resources & Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for administering the service agreement between the DDCC and the Government of Alberta to provide support staff at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative problem-solver with a proven background in human resources and financial management.

Key Duties:

• Talent acquisition, training, scheduling and supervision of staff
• Performance management of staff, including annual evaluations and discipline
• Financial and budgetary management
• Liaise between staff and management
• Assist with payroll processes
• Administration of employee benefits and personnel files
• Coordinate professional development opportunities
• Ensure legal compliance with employment standards and human rights legislation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
• 2-3 years of related work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Assets:

• Experience with Payworks
• Working knowledge of SAGE 50

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
