Human Resources Director (Bi-lingual in Spanish)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to join our team and lead our client’s Human Resources and Recruiting departments. This role is integral to fostering a collaborative and compliant work environment while enhancing employee engagement and development. They are a dynamic organization with 150 employees committed to excellence and innovation.

Position Highlights:

  • Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish is required (speak and read).
  • Current HR Team: 2 members.
  • Current Recruiting Team: 4-5 members.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment between the HR and Recruiting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Communication:
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide and mentor HR and Recruiting teams.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees, from the sales team to the CEO.
    • Promote a culture of teamwork and open communication across the organization.
  2. Team Building and Program Development:
    • Build and expand HR and Recruiting teams to meet organizational needs.
    • Create and implement disciplinary, compliance, and employee engagement programs.
    • Develop rewards and recognition programs to enhance employee morale and motivation.
  3. Training and Development:
    • Design and deliver training programs focused on employee development and succession planning.
    • Identify and address training needs across the organization.
  4. HR Restructuring and Policy Management:
    • Update and maintain the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
    • Standardize and implement procedures for time and attendance, leave of absence (LOA), and grievances.
    • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current employee incentives and rewards programs.
  5. Compliance and Legal:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Implement and oversee procedures for clocking in and out, in accordance with legal requirements.
  6. Benefits Analysis and Management:
    • Conduct a benefits analysis to align with current market trends.
    • Recommend and implement enhancements to employee benefits programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (speak and read) is required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in building and managing HR and Recruiting teams.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
  • Ability to conduct benefits analysis and manage employee rewards programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
