Human Resources Coordinator

This is a great position that offers benefits and RRSP! The salary for this position starts at $50,000 per year.

Duties include:

1. Employee onboarding and offboarding – setting employees up for payroll, benefits, and software related to the job and filing ROE when employees leave the company
2. Update drivers list with company insurance
3. File any disability claims or injury claims and follow up on process.
4. Fix any of the employee’s punch in/out times, and manage vacation / sick leave
5. Create and post job postings, evaluate/Interview prospective candidates
6. Update / coordinate employee training including Joint Health and Safety Committee certifications
7. Schedule and monitor employee training and company certification programs
8. Building a pay and salary structure for all employees
9. Print report of the payroll run
10. Run report in Sage 50 for EI, CPP, Income Tax and compare to Business Works
11. Yearly print T4’s and T4 Summary
12. Chair Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings with all locations and keep meeting minutes

Requirements:

1. Must be able to work 40 hours on your SIN long term (at least 1 year)
2. Must have experience working with Sage 50, HR4 program, and Microsoft Office
3. Must have experience working with payroll, benefits, insurance, and recruiting
4. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar HR role
5. Must have a diploma or degree in Human Resources
6. Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
