We are adding a new Team Member to our Human Resources Department and have an exciting opportunity for you as the Human Resources Coordinator at our Administration Office located in the west end of Edmonton.
The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Human Resources Team Lead and be primarily responsible for supporting the various human resources functions within the Human Resources Department.
Position Overview
- Contribute to essential recruitment tasks, including sourcing talent, maintaining job descriptions, managing job postings on internal/external job boards, screening/interviewing candidates, offer presentations and onboarding new hires.
- Assist with foreign workers applications/visa extension and preparation of required employer documents.
- Provide assistance in the administration, development and revision of human resource policies, procedures, job descriptions and internal programs.
- Proficient in gathering data from various sources, analyzing it, preparing reports and providing recommendations.
- Maintain employee data in the HRIS using Ceridian Dayforce.
- Prepare and compile reports to identify employee metrics.
- Filing and document management.
- Maintain Employment Equity database.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing frequent interruptions, and shifting deadlines effectively.
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the Management Team.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism is of the utmost importance.
- Proficiency in utilizing all Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Occasional travel to out of town branches may be required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
