Overview
Our client is seeking a transformative Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic and mission-driven leadership team. As a strategic advisor and collaborative partner, you will work closely with leaders across all levels of the organization — from department managers to the executive team — to co-create and implement a forward-thinking people strategy. Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels, aligning talent strategies with organizational goals and driving people-focused initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Design and manage compensation structures, including salary bands, total rewards, and incentive programs using data and market benchmarks to ensure equity and competitiveness.
DEI Leadership
- Lead and support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies through programs, partnerships, and policy development.
Career Pathing & Development
- Build and evolve career frameworks, professional development programs, and leadership pipelines that support growth and internal mobility.
Organizational Design & Transformation
- Lead strategic org design efforts, including workforce planning and team structure, especially during periods of change or scaling.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Champion a values-aligned, people-first culture through meaningful programs, initiatives, and rituals that promote engagement and belonging.
End-to-End Employee Journey
- Shape a seamless employee lifecycle — from attracting and onboarding top talent to retention and development of high performers.
Performance Management Systems
- Develop and refine systems that foster accountability, continuous feedback, and personal growth, in partnership with leadership.
Change Management
- Partner on cross-functional initiatives to support organizational transformation and alignment through change.
HR Metrics & Insights
- Use data and people analytics to inform decision-making, measure effectiveness, and optimize strategy.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner capacity.
- Degree in Human Resources; CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Experience in designing and managing compensation structures and rewards programs.
- Proven ability to lead DEI initiatives and support inclusive culture building.
- Expertise in career development planning, workforce strategy, and organizational design.
- Business-savvy, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across varying levels of leadership.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with senior leaders in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments.
- Familiarity with Canadian and US employment law is an asset.
