Overview
Our client is seeking a transformative Human Resources Business Partner to join a dynamic and mission-driven leadership team. As a strategic advisor and collaborative partner, you will work closely with leaders across all levels of the organization — from department managers to the executive team — to co-create and implement a forward-thinking people strategy. This role places a strong emphasis on equity, inclusion, talent development, and organizational growth.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, with the ability to shape culture, drive innovation, and enhance the employee experience in a fast-paced, values-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders at all levels, aligning talent strategies with organizational goals and driving people-focused initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design and manage compensation structures, including salary bands, total rewards, and incentive programs using data and market benchmarks to ensure equity and competitiveness.

DEI Leadership

  • Lead and support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies through programs, partnerships, and policy development.

Career Pathing & Development

  • Build and evolve career frameworks, professional development programs, and leadership pipelines that support growth and internal mobility.

Organizational Design & Transformation

  • Lead strategic org design efforts, including workforce planning and team structure, especially during periods of change or scaling.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Champion a values-aligned, people-first culture through meaningful programs, initiatives, and rituals that promote engagement and belonging.

End-to-End Employee Journey

  • Shape a seamless employee lifecycle — from attracting and onboarding top talent to retention and development of high performers.

Performance Management Systems

  • Develop and refine systems that foster accountability, continuous feedback, and personal growth, in partnership with leadership.

Change Management

  • Partner on cross-functional initiatives to support organizational transformation and alignment through change.

HR Metrics & Insights

  • Use data and people analytics to inform decision-making, measure effectiveness, and optimize strategy.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner capacity.
  • Degree in Human Resources; CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Experience in designing and managing compensation structures and rewards programs.
  • Proven ability to lead DEI initiatives and support inclusive culture building.
  • Expertise in career development planning, workforce strategy, and organizational design.
  • Business-savvy, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across varying levels of leadership.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with senior leaders in fast-paced, purpose-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and US employment law is an asset.
